STOP or EMERGENCY STOP

With the new cable console, you can take advantage of an additional benefit. It comes with a red “push” button that, thanks to its own characteristics and appropriate wiring, can have its safety circuits integrated in the machine. This allows the button to be used as either a [STOP] or an [EMERGENCY STOP] button. “STOP” is defined as a function that allows the machine to stop only in safe conditions, whereas an “emergency stop”(once activated)provides a stop to hazardous activities of a machine in the event of an emergency.

The button used in the cable control unit can perform either a [STOP] or [EMERGENCY STOP] function, as it conforms to international standards and regulations that govern such as, ISO EN 13850, EN / IEC 60947-5-1, EN / IEC 60947- 5-5 and Directive LVD 2006/95/CE. When used as an [EMERGENCY STOP], the push-button, (which carries a load up to 3 A/ 30 VDC), in addition to being red in color also has a yellow background and is indicated with the words "E-STOP" or "EMERGENCY STOP". How to use this button is a choice based on the application requirements and risk analysis of the machine.
